Congrats to rebuild member Rebuilding Together NYC (RTNYC) for another Brooklyn solar lighting installation. On July 26th RTNYC held a Light it Up program in Gerritsen Beach,and installed 45 security lights with the help of volunteers from Bike & Build. Local and national teamwork gets families into safe housing.

BUILD IT BACK
The Brooklyn Build it Back site is in Coney Island. Call for 646 237-5925 for an appointment Tuesday-Thursday. Many city council members are also hosting hours in their district offices. A press conference was recently held in Canarsie, cataloguing the recent progress including reimbursements (now at 500) and construction starts. Cognitive behavioral therapy with telephone, text, and chat supports will be made available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week free of charge.
