CONEY ISLAND Roots of Resilience Screening @ P. S. 329 | New York | United States

A year ago the  Resilience mural was installed at PS 329 in Coney Island. Nearly 400 students, parents, faculty, and neighborhood volunteers collaborated to design and execute an 825 square foot public art mural in the PS 329 schoolyard.

“Roots of Resilience” is a documentary short produced and directed by NYU Film School student Brendan Bubion that tells the story behind the creation of the mural.
Please join us for the official premier on Tuesday, October 28 at PS 329 at 6pm, and feel free to invite neighbors and leaders who have been part of the community’s recovery. The screening will be followed by a brief panel discussion about the future of Coney Island and refreshments.
