Mill Basin, Mill Island, Georgetown, Bergen Beach and Marine Park

The NY Rising Community Reconstruction Program, created by Governor Cuomo and funded with federal Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding, will make the the Southeast Brooklyn Waterfront communities stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for future storms. The NYRCR program is a community-driven planning process with the goal of creating a comprehensive resiliency plan for the Southeast Brooklyn Waterfront neighborhoods.
